About us:

We, along with our young children Charlie, George, and Ash, have created Mohua Nursery to supply quality local native plants to the Golden Bay region and beyond.

Our passion for regeneration has enabled Mohua Nusery to thrive, with a constant goal: Ensuring local farmers, home owners, and community trusts can be supplied with quality eco-sourced local plants suitable for growing best in our region.

What we offer:

Not only do we grow plants, but we can help you with your planting ideas to ensure the plants selected meet the environmental conditions you may have.

We offer pre-planting site assessment to structure your planting plans to suit your needs.

Need help to plant your plants? We can assist or manage planting sites with pre-planting land preparation, planting and guarding, and follow up maintenance on your planting sites.

Our pot sizes:

  • 0.2L Root trainer

    Pot size is 5cm x 5cm, by 12cm deep. Space saving and great for shipping. Great efficient compact size, plants grown in these pots are generally 30-50cm tall.

  • 0.3L 7cm pot

    Pot size is 7cm x 7cm, 10cm deep. space saving and great for shipping. Great efficient compact size, plants grown in these pots are generally 30-50cm tall.

  • T28 revegetation tray

    28 plants per tray, each plant is 0.5L volume. The individual pot size is 7cm x 7cm, 15cm deep. Great wholesale size for larger planting scales. Plants are generally 40-60cm tall.

  • 1 Litre pot

    Retail grade plants grown and ready for urban or rural planting. Larger grade than the smaller pot sizes above. Plants generally 50-70cm tall.

  • 2.5 Litre pot

    Our largest size - retail grade plants grown and ready for urban planting. Plants are generally 60-80cm+ tall.
