Mohua Multiguard - Economy

Product update August 2026: We have secured new cardboard for our Economy Multiguard, a longer-lasting board that aligns with our Premium guard. Stock is expected to arrive end of August, and current card stock is running low until they arrive. 

The Economy Mohua Multiguard is an affordable NZ-made biodegradable cardboard plant guard designed for root-trainer plants, native revegetation, farms, nurseries and large-scale planting projects.

Each guard includes a built-in mulch mat to help suppress weeds inside the guard and reduce competition around young plants.

The Economy guard helps protect plants from spray drift, line trimmers, wind and pests while the plant establishes. This can reduce labour and ongoing plant maintenance.
